The “E” Means Non-Compliant
“For men who hate women, the violation of privacy is part of the thrill”, let that sink in.
The post is interesting, be sure to read it.
But it’s the title that speaks so much truth: For men who hate women, the violation of privacy is part of the thrill.
Men who hate women desire to violate them, to eliminate their right to privacy, to force onto women the presence, imposition and voyeuristic desires of those men. It thrills them, that violation, that being there, that seeing you, that force of theirs against your rights.
Scumbag Reddit strikes again.
If you’re a straight guy looking for “fapping” material, the internet is your friend. It’s awash in freely available pictures of naked women of every size, shape, color, age, or hairstyle you prefer. And if you want more than pictures, the internet is happy to oblige, offering up videos featuring women of every description engaging in every sex act you can imagine, and then some.
You might think this would be enough.
But for some straight dudes, it evidently isn’t. They don’t just want to look at the mind-bogglingly enormous selection of women out there who have agreed to pose naked, or even perform explicit sex acts, on camera.
No, they also want to look at women who haven’t agreed to have their nude photos put on the internet. Hence the popularity of “ex-girlfriend” or “revenge porn” sites, filled with pictures that are (or at…

Women are not the problem. Women are the oldest, most oppressed class in known history. Men know this, and they like it.
In “Gender as a Hate Crime” (Dianne Post, Rain and Thunder #41 ) it was noted that “When I was lobbying for the inclusion of gender in the Arizona hate crimes statute many years ago, the man who spoke before me said that crimes against women are so common that if they were included in hate crimes, it would overwhelm the system and no one else would get any attention.”
Indeed. I guess this is why transgender folks can achieve human rights, civil rights and hate crimes legislative protections but females can’t. Female-hatred can continue unabated without consequence or even being questioned. It is so ‘normal’ and so widespread, that it is not seen as systemic structural oppression in its own right.
One of the most common socially approved expressions of this universal Hate, is the continuing metaphor of women as animals, (ie not-human animals), chicks, cows, dogs, bunnies, and often presented…

Powerful words. Hear them. Hold them close.
Below is a link to a powerful testimony on this woman’s first Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival experience.
Here is small sample…
…I can start to glimpse for the first time, flashes of an answer to questions like, “Who would I be if I had been raised with perfect love and support?” “Who would I be if I had not been harmed and twisted?” “Who would I be if I had never been measured against a toxic standard?” “Who would I be if I had not grown up fearing rape?” “Who would I be if I had not had to spend so many years on simply trying to survive, heal, and recover?” Those questions start to get a lot less rhetorical, in light of Fest. The nourishment seems to be unbound by space/time limitations—it seems to reach back to all of my past selves who most need to be fed.

Female-only spaces are integral to the physical, emotional and political protection of women. It is a violation of women’s human rights to be told we do not exist as a separate, historically oppressed class of people, distinct from our oppressors. It erases us. It hides our oppression. It will eventually eliminate us. Completely.
“Your status as male is what allows you the power to shape real social, economic, and financial conditions based on what you want. When women, an oppressed group, tell you no, this is not oppression of you. This is resistance to total and complete domination.”
This is how it happens.
Stand up for Women. Stand with Women. Put Women First.
You’re not quite sure when it started. It was a creeping hysteria, progressing inch by inch, breaking down the boundaries word by word and phrase by phrase.
When the ground is being pulled from under you, you try to make the best of it. You think “well, how much space do I need anyhow?” You shuffle your feet, stand on tip-toe, say “no, it’s fine, I can live with this”. You are, you tell yourself, being practical and considerate. It might militate against what you believe yourself to be, and the space to which you feel you are entitled, but you’ve been used to this since the day you were born. You are, after all, a woman, or so you used to allow yourself to think.

Gender hurts women and girls.
The stereotypes which limit our opportunities in life keep us perpetually under paid. The social expectation that we be caretakers to not just our own immediate family, but to extended family, neighbors, schools, co-workers, basically any stranger in need, means we are chronically exhausted, afflicted with multiple stress-related illnesses and are afford little, if any, down time in order to recuperate. We live under constant threat of sex-based violence. We are the largest population of people who have no effective voice within our society. Our bodies are not even our own, white men in dark suits control our reproductive processes.
All of this is done by gendering us. By implementing a coordinated system of social control which limits what females are allowed to do, say or be.
Gender is control system used to oppress the female sex. Gender hurts. It’s supposed to hurt.
Females are born. The stereotypical roles, behaviors and appearance of women varies across different cultures. No female is born with the knowledge that she should grow long hair, apply makeup, dress in skirts and heels, smile sweetly, speak softly and provide caretaking to men. These stereotypical behaviors, roles and appearances are forced on her, in service to a male-dominated society which does not value her as an equal. Socially constructed behaviors, roles and appearances are not innate to any individual.
Feminism is the socio-political advancement of females, an oppressed sex class. Actions and behaviors which promote males and male-dominated social systems are not feminism. Women who value and promote the rights and protection of men over women in any circumstance or situation are not feminists.
Stop coopting the term “feminist.”
If you privilege trans concerns over woman-born-women’s concerns, you are not a feminist.
If you believe that the question of “what does it mean to be a woman?” has been settled, and that the only legitimate answer is that a woman is anyone who declares that identity, you are not a feminist.
If you regard a love of pink, frills, makeup, and high heels as evidence that a person is really female deep inside, you are not a feminist.
If you believe that being a woman is based on personal conviction, and that body, genetics, and socialization are irrelevant, you are not a feminist.
If you use the phrase “radical feminist” as an ugly epithet, you are not a feminist.
If you uncritically believe in “brain sex,” you are not a feminist.
If you insist that everyone who self-identifies as a woman must be one…
